Polymer Modified Asphalt

ProQuip provides agitators for make-up tanks for polymer additions in production of polymer modified asphalt material. These mixers provide excellent service for incorporating polymers into asphalt products. ProQuip agitators are used throughout North America in asphalt applications with tank volumes from 1,000 gallons to over 1,000,000 gallons.

Top Entry Agitators ProQuip has designed and manufactured Top Entry Agitators for many applications in asphalt material production and storage. These Top Entry Mixers feature robust drive assemblies and shafting with high efficiency impellers to provide cost effective agitator systems that are engineered to meet or exceed your mixing requirements. ProQuip Top Entry Agitators are also used for liquid blending, heat transfer, solid suspension, and gas dispersion.

Side Entry Agitators ProQuip has a full range of Side Entry Agitators for asphalt tank applications. Both belt drive and gear driven designs are available and designed for demanding applications in the asphalt industry. They provide significant discharge and minimize pitch. Many large diameter storage vessels will use multiple side entry agitators which are equally spaced around the vessel.
